Dutch duo Tinlicker have dropped a new single, ‘Slipstream’, alongside the emotive vocal talents of Julia Church. The track fits into the pair’s signature progressive house sound, but with a variety of raw, live sounds combining to forge a warm and unique sonic palette. They balance slow, atmospheric moments with pounding, four-to-the-floor outbursts, permeated by exploratory vocal hooks. The track “has this melancholic feeling, the urge that you want something, but you can’t yet reach it. The beauty of Julia’s vocals and Nathan's songwriting combined with our soundscapes capture this moment.” The band are touring the UK and Europe in 2024, with a stop at London’s legendary Troxy. -Dan Peeke
